Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SnapDat API and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Verona Strategic LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Use of the Service
SnapDat provides a REST API for generating website screenshots and Open Graph social cards. You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to screenshot or scrape content you do not have permission to access
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits or usage quotas
- Resell API access without our written consent
- Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure
- Use the Service to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or violates third-party rights
2. API Keys and Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API key. You must notify us immediately at support@snapdat.io if you believe your API key has been compromised. We are not liable for any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Usage Limits
Each plan includes a monthly request limit. Requests exceeding your plan's limit will be rejected with an HTTP 429 response. Unused requests do not roll over to the following month.
- Free: 100 requests/month
- Pro: 2,000 requests/month
- Scale: 10,000 requests/month
4. Payment and Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
If payment fails, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan after a 7-day grace period.
5. Intellectual Property
Screenshots and OG cards generated by the Service are based on third-party websites. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to capture and use that content. SnapDat claims no ownership over generated outputs.
The SnapDat name, logo, and software are owned by Verona Strategic LLC. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT SCREENSHOTS WILL ACCURATELY REPRESENT THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AT ANY GIVEN TIME.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERONA STRATEGIC LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
